How we choose

  1. Primary — Made in Canada first. Country of Origin Canada, Made in Canada on the Amazon listing, or a clear manufacturer claim that the product is made/assembled in Canada.
  2. Secondary — labeled non-US alternatives. When Canadian Made is scarce, we may add products that are not Made in Canada if the listing clearly states Country of Origin / Made in X (Europe, China, Mexico, Vietnam, UK, Japan, etc.). The shopper-facing card always shows that origin (e.g. “Made in China”).
  3. Hard exclude — no American-made. Made in USA / USA Country of Origin / Assembled in USA as the primary origin claim are never added, even as secondary.
  4. No brand-only SKUs. A Canadian HQ with overseas manufacturing does not qualify as primary. If COO is USA, it is excluded entirely.
  5. No Made stickers. Decals and novelty labels that merely say “Made in Canada” are out.
  6. Amazon.ca only. We prefer Ships from Amazon / Prime when the buy box shows it.
  7. Sort order. On every page: Canadian Made first, then labeled non-US alternatives.
  8. Honest empties. Categories without verified inventory stay Coming soon. Empty shelves beat fake Made.
  9. Re-check live. Origin fields, prices, and sellers change — always confirm on the Amazon.ca product page before you buy.

Public pages show an origin badge (Made in Canada or Made in X), CAD price, star rating (or “See Amazon”), and a clear Amazon.ca button.
